We are currently seeking a talented Cross-Border Operations Manager with ERP experience to join our team. This role is instrumental in managing operations across two sites and ensuring seamless coordination between them.Job Description:
We are looking for a Cross-Border Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing operations in both our Tijuana and San Diego locations.
This role plays a pivotal part in optimizing our manufacturing processes, supply chain, and overall efficiency while maintaining strong coordination between the two sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations at both the Tijuana and San Diego sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
Supply Chain Coordination:
Manage the cross-border supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to ensure timely material availability.
ERP Expertise:
Utilize ERP software to manage and optimize operations, including inventory control, production planning, and order processing.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor operations teams at both sites, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Quality Control:
Ensure adherence to quality control standards and procedures at both sites, maintaining high product quality.
Cost Management:
Manage operational budgets effectively, striving for cost reduction and cost control measures.
Cross-Border Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and trade requirements for cross-border operations.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency.
Coordination:
Facilitate effective communication and coordination between the Tijuana and San Diego sites, ensuring alignment of goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Proven experience in operations management, ideally in a cross-border manufacturing setting.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with quality control standards and lean manufacturing principles.
