Responsibilities:

Now we are looking for a

Packaging Designer

Main Purpose


As a Brand Packaging Designer you are responsible for the execution of comprehensive brand design projects (POS, Packaging & Campaigns) within the Frito Lay North America portfolio.

You will demonstrate superior ability to inspire and influence brand design through fresh creative ideas with exceptional implementation, specially on packaging and know-how to release printing files.

You will also engage with internal and external design and cross-functional partners from ideation through execution and implementation, with a big focus on adapating existing packaging designs to different formats and sizes.


Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Brand Design & Development: Responsible for design, layout, and formatting of visual identity assets that include logos, typography, illustration, photography and other brand elements for a range of formats and packaging for the FLNA and QFNA brand portfolio.
  • Lifestyle, Design, & Culture: Responsible for staying ahead of current trends in design, fashion, music, lifestyle brands, packaging, social media, and other platforms. Followed by the need to translate into design work that elevates our brands, makes them hyper relevant and drives deep consumer love.
  • Preflight &

FFU:
Assure the implementation and feaseability of Artwork for production.

  • Build a strong collaboration with the North America Foods Design team to help them adapting multiple packaging assets to different format and sizes.

Qualifications:

Qualifications / Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field (packaging design, graphic design, visual arts).
  • 3+ years of agency creative experience in packaging design, packaging adaptations, point of sale and printing files.
  • Profifency in conceptualization ( ideas generation, brainstorming).
  • Language proficiency both in English and Spanish is a must
  • Demonstrable fluency with Adobe CC suite of products, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Previous experience on adapting multiple assets to different ratios, sizes and shapes.
  • Knowledge in Preflight and Fit for Use.
  • Knowledge of social aspect ratios and delivery filetypes.
  • An online portfolio showing a variety of standout work is a MUST.
