Experience in the automotive industry is a must

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and Development: Utilize NX software and other design tools to create and develop interior components, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Release Planning: Develop comprehensive release plans for interior component designs, including schedules, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and efficient production
  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control processes to validate design integrity, performance, and adherence to industry regulations
  • Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing, and suppliers, to coordinate the release process and resolve any designrelated issues.
  • Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of materials, prototypes, and tooling necessary for design release activities
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and release packages
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction while maintaining design excellence

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field

Proven experience in interior component design and release, with a focus on seats, plastics, trim, restraints, cockpit, and lighting:

  • Proficiency in NX, Catia V5, and Teamcenter
  • Strong knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations
  • Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to producing highquality designs
