Job Summary


The Asset Management Manager will be in charge of Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in some or all of the following areas; assets planning, allocation, capex forecast control, assets purchasing and internal transfer, rental, delivery management, disposal by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.


Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

  • Drive Continuous Improvement of Utilization on key equipment areas.
  • Validate the exact capacity requirements based on business plans
  • Ensure Capacity is right sized to meet the future technology requirements.
  • Develop strategy to meet alternative capacity solutions for short burst needs (Rental, Oursource etc)
  • Ensure all available company assets are considered thru coordination with sister sites.
  • Work with internal and third parties to ensure inbound delivery schedules are maintained
  • Cooperate with other internal entities to support their capacity needs if suitable idle assets are available internally at each respective location.
  • Coordinate Assets disposal and ensure compliance to relevant process and procedures
  • Develop process and procedure to support productivity, efficiency and compliance.
  • Highlight to Global Asset Management of new technology or specific customer needs to ensure existing solutions are leveraged from other locations or planned into formal equipment evaluation process.
  • Review and validation capacity analysis where new equipment demand is projected or planned.
  • Support Capex Forecast and Submissions Process
  • Advise and propose to Senior Management on Investment Reduction opportunities.
  • In the case of localized Equipment solutions are proposed that local policy and procedure is adhered to control purchase order issuance to ensure approved investment is still applicable based on current capacity requirements (May changed based on approved capex amount)
  • Ensure Vendors are aligned with capacity needs plans at early stage.
  • Support the negotiation of rental agreements
  • Ensure local price proposals are aligned to Global Supply Agreement / local price standards.
Here is the experience that we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar
  • Strong experience in similar position.
  • Excel advanced (Macros) is a must.
  • Strong Equipment technical data analytical skills
  • English advanced (Strong speaking)
  • Demonstrates experience in performance development, teaching/ leading, mentoring and/or organization development
  • Strong experience working with Machinery (ASM FUJI, YJ link, AOI's)
  • Good ability to manage vendor communication and negotiations under company ethic and values.
  • Experience in contract and cost negotiations
