Essential Duties

Review the initial customer request and determine with the estimating team if the project should be quoted.
Acknowledge the quotation request to the customer.
Ensure the estimating team has all the information required to begin the quotation.
Review the data entry received.
Schedule periodic meetings with the data entry team to review what can be improved on the quality of the quotes being received.
Prepare packages of specifications/dwgs to send to the factories for costing.
Once manager approves the desired budgets, request costs from outsource factories.
Analyze costs that are received and review with estimating manager.
Update the project with confirmed costs for approval.
Weekly update of costing report.
Request project specific data entry.
Input factory costs into grid for final approval before project moves into production.
Provide PM/ Engineer team with specifications to produce shop drawings.
Input costing on smaller scale projects.
Obtain special materials costing when necessary (fabric, specified laminate, specified power port, etc.)
Other duties and project as assigned
