The Community Development Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate the development of content and training strategies that allow the continuous updating and consolidation of the educational offer through the promotion of the financial and economic culture between the different segments of the population.
  • Coordinate the design and implementation of the educational strategies of the area for the promotion of the financial and economic culture.
  • Coordinate the detection of needs, the design and implementation, as well as the social and educational approach to update and innovate the educational offer, according to the different segments of the population.
  • Design and actuate the strategies and methodologies of classroom training, direct and in cascade to ensure the development of financial and economic skills in children, young people and adults, business people, entrepreneurs and organizations of civil society, in favor of their welfare.
  • Design and/or validation of the content for materials, training and channels of knowledge offers to contribute to personal welfare, family and community.
  • Design and consolidate models of intervention toward: children, young people, adults, entrepreneurs and business, collaborators and clients

Qualifications:


  • Min 58 years of relevant experience

Education:


  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

Escolaridad:


  • Licenciatura concluida en Historia del Arte o afines
  • Maestría o Doctorado Deseable

Conocimientos Generales

  • Conocimientos en áreas Sociales, Culturales y difusión del arte en general, aptitudes de liderazgo, análisis, conservación y promoción de Arte, familiarizado con el manejo del espacio, elaboración y lectura de planos arquitectónicos, técnicas artísticas y materiales de las artes. Aptitudes en catalogación, control y registro.
  • Habilidades en dirigir grupos, ser adaptable a los cambios, trabajo en equipo, establecer rápidamente relaciones interpersonales, planificación de actividades, Iniciativa, sentido común, creatividad.
  • Disposición para viajar.
  • Manejo del idioma inglés en un nível intermedio tanto hablado, escrito y leído.

Funciones Principales

  • Responsable de las Bodegas de obras de arte.
  • Gestionar y supervisar el control del inventario de la Colección de obras, para evitar faltantes de información de obra que puedan repercutir en el activo fijo; con ello tener un correcto dictamen de su estado de conservación.
  • Supervisión y diseño museográfico. Supervisión de embalaje y traslado de obra.
  • Desarrollar proyectos y supervisar las exposiciones temporales para Foro Valparaíso, Casas Señoriales y virtuales, así como las acciones para el montaje de exposiciones; mantenimiento y conservación de las obras con el fin de promover y conservar el patrimonio cultural.
