The Prod Ctrl Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team.

The overall objective of this role is to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.

Responsibilities:

Monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and data
Identify process gaps and control issues
Escalate anomalies and issues in an efficient and timely manner
Interpret data, identify inconsistencies through research and recommend solutions based on analysis
Develop knowledge of how team interacts with others to accomplish Finance goals
Develop basic knowledge of industry practices and standards
Exchange complex information succinctly and with discretion

Qualifications:

02 years of relevant experience
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
The overall objective of this role is to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.

Responsibilities:

Daily Profit and Loss (P&L) analysis and reporting
Utilize the front office risk system's Profit Attribution Analysis (PAA) to help explain the daily PnL movements for the day and ensure daily trading movements are accurate
Preparation of market commentaries to explain significant P&L movements and events
Reconciliation of income statement and balance sheet during month end close
Networking with other areas of Finance to ensure policies and procedures are consistently adhered to
Collaborating with cross functional teams, including front office, market risk, and operations to resolve open risks
Performing analysis for ad hoc requests regarding regulatory, valuation, risk and operational concerns.

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience across Product Control and Finance processes
A proven track record of working in teams
A control focused mindset with strong process improvement capabilities
Knowledge in Debt securities, IR, FX, Commodities and Equity Derivatives
For this position it is required to solve problems that require analysis, diagnosis and interpretation in order to develop alternative solutions.
02 years of experience in Financial Industry

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, engineering, math, finance or economics.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
