Requirements:

  • Associates Degree and/or Bachelors' Degree in Welding Engineering Technologies is a plus
  • Knowledge of welding processes used in Automotive field is mandatory (Gas Metal Arc Welding
  • Robotic)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Robotic programming knowledge (Desirable)
  • Experience in the field of maintenance and/or project planning for automotive OEM's or Tier 1 supplier (Desirable)
  • Must be willing and authorized to travel throughout MEX and Internationally
  • Travel up to 50%
  • Advance English
  • Valid passport

Responsibilities:

Customer Support

  • Usage of Fronius CRM tool is mandatory; enter and maintain data in CRM System of accounts.
  • Work independently with current clients and prospective clients providing product installation and support.
  • Identify new and existing customer needs on equipment.
  • Testing, Demos, Installations
  • Development of automated welding equipment, prototype weld testing and demonstrations
  • Documentation of weld trials and customer visits
  • Work in cooperation with the technical team on Fronius equipment installations at customer locations or integrators, partners etc.
  • Develop and facilitate presentations, proposals, and conducts product demonstrations
  • Program, troubleshoot and test robot control units
Training

  • Conduct training events for Regional Teams with focus on strategic customer best practices (Automotive)
Marketing

  • Participating in strategic segment related events to support Fronius marketing activities
Sales Support

  • Strategic segment customer support which includes welding system proposals, weld process Evaluations and advice with designs (Automotive)
  • Support Regional Direct Sales teams in all efforts regarding automotive customers (technical and sales related topics)
  • Work with National Segment Manager on acquiring new strategic segment accounts and identify new sales opportunities
  • Implementation of new welding technologies for strategic customers
