Job purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for _

- "dynamic, results driven_
- " individual to join as an _
- eHW CAD Librarian_
- . The _
- eHW CAD Librarian _

Key responsibilities
- _ Create component footprint geometry and electrical symbols primarily using Mentor Graphics tools._
- _ Understand and interpret component package drawings (ASME Y14.5, etc)_
- _ Interface with requesting EEs, other librarians, the Manufacturing Technology Team, and program management, all on a global scale_
- _ Review and test CAD geometry created by other ECAD librarians._
- _ Manage component data in library database (accessed globally)_
- _ Follow all approved BorgWarner ECAD processes to maintain library data integrity_

What we're looking for
- _ High School Diploma required; Associates Degree in engineering field, electrical or mechanical engineering (preferred)_
- _ 2+ years Mentor Graphics xPedition or similar tool (preferred)_
- _ 2+ years Mentor Graphics EDM Librarian Cockpit or similar tool (required)_
- _ 2+ years mechanical CAD tools (NX, Autodesk tools) (preferred)_
- _ Valor DRC_
- _ MS Office Experience_
- _ Capabilities/aptitudes_
- _ Planning_
- _ Communication/collaboration_
- _ Analytical/problem-solving_
- _ Effective writing_
- _ Self-starter_
