Objective
Platform Controller will be the responsible to coordinate and evaluate the profitability of BU Mex powertrain programs.

As a business partner, he/she will have intensive interactions with finance, operations, new programs and commercial departments to reach agreements and find the more profitable solution for Nemak.


Main Responsibilities

  • Economic evolution of new programs, replacements, uplifts, and engineering changes.
  • Preparation and coordination with the team for CAPEX committees.
  • Detailed evaluation and analysis of business case inputs, including manpower, launching expenses, CAPEX, manufacturing cost and overheads.
  • Validation of business cases with plant manager and plant controllers.
  • Perform Profitability tracking of current and new programs
  • Support commercial claims and recovery plans.
  • Control of launching expenses and program capitalizations.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree on Business or Engineering.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Expert in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • SAP experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge in investment evaluation, economic evaluation and/or performance management
  • Outstanding ability to integrate and unify information from several departments
  • Excellent communication skills in all levels of the organization
  • Able to work with uncertain scenarios
  • String ability to persuade and get things done
  • Experience in Automotive Industry (desirable)
