Develops commercial interactions with the main public (federal or state) and private market stakeholders.


Key Activities

  • Serves as a key advisor to manage the growth of assigned key accounts, of private and public institutions, as federal and statal entities, to ensure the availability of UCB solutions for patients.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge in tender and acquisition processes of the government for centralized and decentralized intitutions.
  • Successfully lead and optimizes the company's product portfolio to achieve sales targets and maximize product profitability (G2N), while fostering enduring business relationships.
  • Ensure access to the public and private market, creating longterm partnerships.
  • Participates and collaborates with the PVUs, establish and align access, commercial initiatives and projects.
  • Supervise and analyses to identify gaps and opportunities, and devise corresponding solutions.
  • This role developes, implements and provides information to generate and predict strategic decisions within the company and in coordination with wholesalers and public customers.
  • Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and intermediary for designated key stakeholders of accounts and PVUs.
  • Provide, optimize, and lead key and robust information for the pricing strategy for the accounts under their responsibility.
  • Achieving gross sales, revenue, and public target evolution index; through ongoing analysis of accounts and identification of new opportunities. Drives and executes an accurate forecasting.
  • Assumes direct responsability to follow on process for returns, backed credit notes, and provisioning of public market.
  • Responsible to supervise, monitoring, and ensure the reconciling for the payment to suppliers.
  • Develops, defines, and adapts knowledge regarding submission and inclusion processes for rare diseases and/or orphan drugs into the public institutions, private hospitals and HMOs.
  • Coordinates crossfunctional collaboration between PVUs and access team.
  • As an expert in Access, this role is responsible for providing information to the PVUs and support areas regarding on the tenders processes, performance of the contracts, growth plans for private hospitals and distributors.
  • Offers support, when applicable, in presenting together with the CF information to main stakeholders and decision makers for private and public institutions, in the inclusion process.
  • Improve the performance of access team, in terms of time, and provides the information to build together a strategic plan for the inclusions, with official data of the institutions.
  • Leads by example and serves as a key advisor to manage the key account managers of private and public market.
  • Takes charge of the analyses related to sales, performance, trends, and inventory.
  • Identify and propose new business prospects based on market conditions, both internal and external.

Requirements:


  • At least 5 years in similar position, implementing the Access Strategy.
  • Experience in managing teams (senior reps or KAMS).
  • Deep knowledge of the business processes of distributors, private and public stakeholders related to business (health administrators, basic formularies, and public hospitals).
  • Data management (Databases).
  • Planning Access & Key Accounts Manager.
  • Knowledge of the price & access conditions of the pharmaceutical public and private market.
  • Multitask Project coordination.
  • Public and private access and product inclusion acumen.
  • Customer interaction and negotiation skills.
  • Inglish Advanced
