Senior Manager - Global Workday Recruiting
Join Takeda as Senior Manager - Global Workday Recruiting, where you will lead the Workday functional Recruiting module capability.

You will define requirements, recommend process improvements, coordinate data conversion and testing efforts, and promote change management and communication plans for all projects and changes.

Provide direction, mentoring and guidance to other Workday Recruiting functional resources. Act in a consultative role to offer business solutions and understand stakeholder expectations. Be the escalation point for critical functional production issues with Workday Recruiting.

As part of the HR Data, Digital, and Technology team, you will report to the Head of Digital Talent Acquisition.


How you will contribute:


  • Own Workday runstate and production support activities for Workday Recruit
  • Lead process design and configuration activities including business analysis, process mapping, writing business & functional requirements, configuration documents, test plans and test cases
  • Own configuration and implementation of fixes, enhancements and change requests
  • Lead process and functional discussions while collaborating with HR business partners, HR Center of Excellence and Innovation (COEI), technical and development teams and other members of the HR Business Technology and People Data team
  • Ensure the appropriate development and execution of SOX compliance and controls
  • Understand and maintain Recruiting Roles and Workflows
  • Lead and manage Recruit portion of biannual Workday releases including identifying impacts and enhancements, directing regression testing and configuring required and optional features
  • Understand entire Talent Acquisition technology stack and support the role of Workday Recruit in the broader architecture
  • Focus on identifying trends, determining root cause of problems, predicting future implications and determining solutions to drive effective business decisions
  • Strategize with Product Owner, Business Unit talent acquisition leadership, and Talent Acquisition COEI (center of excellence & Innovation) on how to improve derived value from the technology

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5+ years' prior work experience in a Lead or Mgr role in support of Workday Recruiting
  • Ability to design user process flows and translate those into system requirements
  • Ability to understand system configuration options and make decisions to balance user requirements with system sustainability and performance expectations to ensure an optimal user experience
  • Experience developing and maintaining SOX controls and procedures
  • Experience in Agile Development, with specific productfocused experience, working with Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban)
