Application Software Design Engineer Sr:

ZF is looking to hire an Application
Software Engineer to join our team at our state-of-the-art R&D center located in Monterrey Mexico

Responsibilities:

Design software components for braking and steering systems in accordance with the requirements.
Optimization of the design in terms of resources (RAM/ROM runtime) and other criteria.
Design of embedded software and associated tooling (e.g., code Generators).
Close international cooperation with other departments, customers, and projects
Support for implementation and testing in the areas of requirement analysis, architecture, and integration.
Design of AUTOSAR software component descriptions with modeling tools.
Specification of the behavior of the components using UML.
Perform over testing environment for static, dynamic white box test (QAC, Cantata, Polyspace, etc.), continuous integration.
Team player, driven and structured with good communication.
Mentor and Coach for less experienced colleagues.
Other duties as requested.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relevant related degree.
5+ years of experience.
Working knowledge of C/C++ as well as the software development lifecycle.
Experience with embedded software development.
Ability to integrate software with target hardware.
Software Version Control Tools (Such as GIT).
Experience with Requirement Database tool such as IBM Doors.
Experience with Software Architecture and Design tools as IBM Rapsody.
Experience with Automotive Functional Safety Concepts and its implications to Software development.
Knowledge of Vector CAN tools (CANalyzer, CANoe) or equivalent (NeoVI).
Scripting language knowledge such as Python
Strong communication skills.
Business fluent written and Spoken English.

Nice to have:

Software security analysis according to ISO2626
Multicultural experience desired.
Master's degree preferred.
