Sr Associate Finance:

What you will do:

In this vital role you will be responsible for:


  • Monitors actual and forecasted expenses variance (on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis)
  • Ensures all company data is collected, derived and consolidated data from all departments in order to produce reliable forecasting and plans.
  • Coordinates and consolidates budget & latest estimate and ensures accurate upload of data into Anaplan & Hyperion.
  • Coordinates longterm planning support activities.
  • Analyses and prepares reports to the parent company.
  • Supports purchase order management, working with PO owners to ensure uptodate information.
  • Participate in the accounting close and quarterly accrual preparation.
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to corporate and local guidelines.
  • Provides decision support to various customers (BU's, project teams, functions)
  • Facilitates business planning and decision making; provides financial analysis, modelling of "what if" scenarios.

Outputs:


  • Financial Analysis for decision support.
  • Budget, Latest Estimate (i.e., LE)
  • Longrange plan / Country Operating Plan.
  • Management reporting to management team and the different departments.
  • Presentations on demand of management team and the different departments.
  • Management reporting to the parent company.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree OR
  • Associate's degree and 5 years of experience in similar positions on the industry.
  • Proficiency in English, both in written and verbal communication.

Preferred Requirements:


  • Studies specialised in finance (financial analysis, controlling, accounting, consolidating)
  • MBA would be an advantage.
  • Experience in various areas of finance and accounting.
  • Industry knowledge
  • Basic knowhow of applicable laws concerning business admin, taxes (esp. VAT), accounting and consolidation
  • Basic knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with JD Edwards One World.
  • Experience with COGNOS GPS planning and reporting (Powerplay)
  • Excellent user of Office Programs as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Crystal Ball.
