About the Role

Ensure Carrier's transformation and profitability through the design of manufacturing systems, search and implementation of new technologies, and innovation processes. Lead and coordinate the development and/or improvement in current manufacturing processes and specify requirements for the quotation, purchase, runoff of capital project equipment, tooling, and systems required for the manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to various departments in plant operations, quality, supply chain, and production lines.
  • Analyze and solve problems related to product engineering.
  • Verify the accuracy/reliability of Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Technical analysis and creation of problem reports (PRs).
  • Evaluate and propose changes and improvements to the product design (ECRs).
  • Coordinate assembly tests and pilot runs.
  • Meet the needs of our external and internal customers by establishing an effective relationship with the sustaining engineering department from a product technical standpoint.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
  • Engineer with over 1 year of experience in a similar role in NPI/Product Engineering/Projects.
  • Experience in new product introductions.
  • Product design information analysis.
  • Handling problems online (providing solutions, documenting dives, and root cause analysis).
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency.
  • Knowledge of Windchill will be valued (PLM software for engineering changes and product documentation).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
  • Desirable knowledge of CREO.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Desirable experience in HVAC (any manufacturing company).
  • Advanced conversational English level.
