As a Health and Benefits
Director you will lead teams and be responsible for fostering relationships with offshore and onshore U.S colleagues.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of a variety of projects involving the design, financing, and ongoing management of self-insured health and benefit programs for US-based employers.

You will review client health data analysis, assist with underwriting, claim projections, reserving, risk analysis, and plan design modeling.

You will have the opportunity to significantly grow your business acumen as well as your financial, team management and communication skills by working on cutting edge projects at a leading global broking company.

You will be responsible for the overall success of your team; responsibilities include but are not limited to the successful delivery of work products to our U.S.

colleagues, peer reviews of analysis and technical models, and training and management of a team of junior colleagues.


Lead health and benefits projects involving the design and management of group medical, dental, wellbeing, life, disability and absence management benefits for clients


Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for daytoday interactions with onshore U.S. colleagues
  • Ensure quality assurance and lead the review of pricing, modeling, risk analysis, creation of benefit plan analysis, design, cost savings and funding strategies.
  • Identify key takeaways and provide consultative recommendations to U.S colleagues of projects outlined above
  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects and clients, with both longterm deadlines and fastturnaround requests
  • Draft financial and actuarial communications and slide decks to be presented to U.S. colleagues and to clients
  • Build effective relationships internally and collaborate effectively on global, crossfunctional teams in multiple time zones
  • Responsible for high quality technical and peer review of work by other financial associates to ensure alignment to U.S. colleague expectations and client objectives, leverage optimal WTW services and solutions, and adherence to WTW professional excellence standards
  • Mentor, train, and lead teams

10+ years' experience working in a financial services and/or consulting setting (i.e., insurance brokerage, insurance carrier or other related environments, consulting firm)

  • Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate and lead a highperforming team
  • Direct people management experience
  • Strong mathematical, financial, and analytical skills
  • Strong storytelling skills; ability to synthesize complex information into easytounderstand concepts
  • Strong client service orientation with clientfirst mindset
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint abilities
  • Experience in underwriting and knowledge of U.S. healthcare is strongly preferred but not required
  • Proven history of managing multiple concurrent deliverables and the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fastpaced environment
  • Career oriented individual, with an emphasis on developing effective financial, communication, and leadership skills
