The Master Trainer secures local deployment of globally aligned standards in accordance with defined training methodologies.

This is done through identification of local training needs, plan and coordinate training in collaboration with line management to support the development of the workforce in a systematic way.

The focus area of the department is to develop the functional expertise within the specific area through a strong and proficient training organisation to support globalization, scalability and sustainability towards new and existing employees.

This position will be essential to take our organization to the next expertise level, positively impacting on SQDCP.


Core Responsibilities:


Local Responsibility:

Identify local training needs and measure training efficiency and support training led by Job Instruction methodology and classroom training - on-time delivery of training based on production needs (focused on safety and quality)


Coordinate daily training activities including development of training plans and employees competencies in the skills matrix, and training materials updates and external vendors as well.

Daily and operational coordination of Global Job Trainers, Local Trainers and Technicals Writers in functional area. Participate in daily huddles in the functional area.

Works as an active partner for stakeholders (ramp-up for high season, new technologies or capacity expansion)


Support the selection/recruiting, development and motivation and evaluation of Local Job Trainers, together with Line Mgmt, and Learning Center and the follow up of their performance.

Support RIES/PPS/Focus Boards through proactive training initiatives

Responsible for quality, precise detail level and accuracy training documentation with focus on according to global and local requirements and standards, in collaboration with stakeholders (Engineering, Production, QA, R&D, EHS, LC, LCI)


Global Responsibility:

Drive/participate global networking activities (online meetings and F2F workshops) to create and improve global alignment of training material in cooperation with global colleagues

Ensuring for quality in receiving and sending trainers/trainees to/from other sites by ensuring solid training plans and practical conditions

Provide and support training on other sites


Do you have what it takes?:
Professional degree in engineering or management or +3 years of experience on similar position (in manufacturing companies)

3 years minimum of experience within the functional area combined with experience with 2 learning and training activities

A specialised education being relevant for the functional area

Courses or certification on learning & development, principles

Windows (excel, power point) intermediate level

Collaboration, result orientation, leadership, resilience, rational thinking, curious.

English Advanced and Fluent Level
