Responsibilities:


The Opportunity


The purpose of the Release Management Analyst role is to support the planning, coordination, and execution of software and hardware releases, ensuring a smooth deployment process with mínimal disruptions to the production environment.


The primary objective is to assist in delivering high-quality releases within scheduled timelines, facilitating the implementation of software updates, new features, and technical activities.


The Release Management Analyst plays a crucial role in optimizing release processes, maintaining release documentation, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient release execution.


Your Impact.

As Analyst,Release Management your responsibilities would consist of:

  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of software and hardware releases, ensuring that release timelines and dependencies are identified and communicated effectively.
  • Coordinate with development, operations, and technical teams to gather release requirements and ensure their alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Execute release activities, including package creation, deployment, and verification, adhering to established release management processes and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate release documentation, including release plans, procedures, and postrelease reports, to ensure traceability and compliance with SoX controls.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks associated with releases, proactively addressing potential issues that may impact the release schedule or quality.
  • Monitor release progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting any deviations or areas requiring attention.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance release processes, tools, and methodologies, aiming for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the resolution of releaserelated incidents and problems, participating in postrelease activities such as incident analysis, root cause identification, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among crossfunctional teams involved in the release process, promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

Who Are We Looking For?
Years of experience

  • 1 year of experience in collaborating with crossfunctional teams in SAP projects: The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with SAP functional teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders is important in ensuring smooth coordination and successful release management within the SAP environment.
Mandatory technical skills

  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC): Knowledge of the different phases of the SDLC and how they relate to release management, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Basic understanding of SAP transport management system (TMS): Familiarity with SAP's TMS or similar transport management systems used for managing the movement of changes between different system landscapes.
Mandatory non-technical skills

  • Strong communication skills: The ability to effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders, articulate releaserelated information, and collaborate within crossfunctional teams.
  • Detailoriented and organized: A strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate release documentation.
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills: The capability to analyze releaserelated issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions or improvements to ensure successful releases.
  • Team player and collaboration: A willingness to work collaboratively with various teams, including development, operations, and business stakeholders, to achieve release objective
