Introduction

As a Test Specialist at IBM, your analytical and technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create.

Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to IBM'ers and our clients.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Work with client to develop test plans and cases.
Develop functional, and E2E Test Plan and Test Cases.
Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
Generate test summary reports for management review.
Analyze root causes of issues and provide corrective actions.
Provide support in project design, development and deployment activities.
Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures.
Report issues within an agile environment (either Scrum or Kanban, through JIRA)
Use of Qtest

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Test Automation Engineer with knowledge of RESTful services testing through automated script using testing tools (Selenium WebDriver) and Providing setup assistance for technical test automation and CI/CD pipeline.
Develop automated E2E and API test scripts and report issues within an agile environment (either Scrum or Kanban, through JIRA).
Analyze test results, coordinate with development teams for bug fixes, and generate test summary reports for management review.
Analyze root causes of automation issues, provide corrective actions, and recommend improvements to exist test procedures.
Provide support in project design, development, and deployment activities.
