A facility management specialist (FCM), plans, controls and directs the activities related to real estate, such as the location and acquisition, the rights of negotiation, acquisition and disposition of buildings and land, the leasing of land, the administration and property maintenance.

She ensures the optimal use of the organization's facilities. She assesses and evaluates the organization's physical space requirements and recommends plans or measures to meet those needs. Ensures the proper functioning of the facilities by conducting inspections and maintaining them

Main responsibilities

  • Design, develop and execute energy efficiency and CO2 reduction projects according to the reviews and proposals obtained from the inspections and reports of plant users to improve and make energy consumption more efficient and reduce CO2 emissions from equipment and installations. plant Prepare, update and deliver in a timely manner the scopes and catalogs of the services under their responsibility, as well as the annual maintenance requirements for electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Authorize hazardous work permits in conjunction with the HSE department, guaranteeing that the necessary safety requirements are met to carry out highrisk work with qualified personnel, tools, PPE, ensuring the avoidance of incidents/accidents to the person, the environment and facilities.
  • Guarantee compliance with the ESD program as well as coordinate and carry out the entire audit program to the production lines applicable to it, attention to audits related to this program and administration of all the information and documentation of the lines sensitive to electrostatic discharges.
  • Develop, implement and comply with an administration system for electrical and mechanical equipment that allows compliance with all applicable legal requirements as well as compliance with a 5's management system.

Safety Management System:

Know and comply with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) and the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SGS) according to points 5.3 and 4.4.
