Your team responsibilities

  • Improve and create a modern and sophisticated platform using latest technologies and following industry best practices
  • Applications using appropriate architectural patterns & latest Python, JavaScript & Oracle technologies.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture team to develop & use common Architectural principles
  • Develop, document and deploy reliable and scalable systems to automate the operation and management of our market data system and terms & condition database

Your key responsibilities

  • Ability to research and drive initiatives independently with a strong sense of discipline and responsibility
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex data and process issues independently and being able to think out of box for a creative solution.
  • A cooperative team player who can handle tight development deadline and manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of reverse engineering existing data models to produce E/R diagrams
  • Experience mentoring junior software engineers to improve their skills

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Degree qualification in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years plus software development experience in Linux technology stack and Windows
  • 4+ years plus experience with one or more of the following languages: Python, SQL, and XML.
  • Experience with relational databases, Oracle/Sybase, with practices on data models design, PL/SQL development, and performance tuning.
  • One years plus experience with one or more of the following repository management, GIT/SVN/CVS,
  • Working experience with automated scheduling tools such as AutoSys, Control-M, Airflow
  • Knowledge on Fixed Income analytics, term and condition, yield curve, pricing is a huge plus
  • Knowledge on Azure/AWS cloud, machine learning, big data, DataBrick, and ETL is a big plus
  • Knowledge of C++/Java/Scala with Maven is a plus.
  • Working experience with Sybase is a plus.
