This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of Iztapalapa Quality & Continuous Improvement culture. Provide guidance to the organization and supports the QA process of new products, processes, software, equipment and raw material from pre-qualification and tender requests to project and operational quality plans.

You will be responsible of ensuring and promoting that health, safety and environmental aspects remain as top priority for management and all employees, in order to safeguard our employees and all people related with our business activities, convinced also for implementing measures that benefits our environment.

You will be responsible of the prevention of accidents, risks, and losses, reducing energy consumption and pollution, eradicating dangerous substances are critical factors for our continuous improvement culture, which requires management responsibility, visible commitment, leadership and involvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the analysis of customer complaints closing effective actions to correct root causes and prevent recurrence
  • Assure that all the changes related to transfers and validation of new products, processes, software, equipment and raw material comply with internal/external requirements and quality/cost objectives
  • Supervise the execution and analysis of a reliability program that assures the consistency of the quality of the product.
  • Responsible for the safety and health of its work team, within the facilities of Thales Iztapalapa.
  • Responsible for promoting the efficient use of energy in the processes or areas under its load.
  • Responsible for ensuring that changes in facilities, equipment, machines, new processes etc. are validated by the Facilities area or the energy management committee before its implementation.
  • Responsible for maintaining, implementing and leading the environmental preservation of their areas and work teams.
  • Ensure that the raw materials are compliant in terms of quality requirements
  • Lead action plan in order to achieve the objectives in terms of Quality: Number of customer complaints, & CONQ.
  • Function as the Quality Management Representative with the responsibility and authority to ensure that all processes needed for the Quality Management System are established, implemented and maintained, report to Top Management, the performance of the Quality Management System and any need for improvement and, ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirement in terms of Quality throughout the Organization.
  • Agenda and audit coordination.
  • Audit report review and validation.
  • Action plan definition with all involved areas, and follow up corrective actions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Engineering Degree
  • Fluent Business English
  • MS Office, Visio, Project, PDM, SESAM, MFGPRO, Minitab
  • Minimum 3 years in same position or production process management level
  • Knowledge on Quality Management Systems (ISO9001)
  • ISO Norms for smart cards.
  • Statistical Process Control.
  • Quality & Advanced Statistical tools (Quality toolbox, FMEA, Design of Experiments, CPK, R&R)
  • Knowledge on Calibration and Measurement Equipment
  • Knowledge on Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO50001, ISO14001 & ISO45001).
  • Legal HSE Compliance.
  • HSE methodologies for campaign preventions and culture improvement.
  • Requirements for Clean Industry and Safety Industry Requirements.
