We are looking for a
Java Developer with Capital Market

JAVA:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design & development of the firm's proprietary, highperformance FI E-Trading platform encompassing fixed income all products (Credits/Rates)
  • Understand RUN, Axes, and RFQs workflow for Dealer to Client markets such as MarketAxess, TradeWeb, and Bloomberg.
  • Drive implementation and design with emphasis on high availability, scalability and reusability
  • Work with other Fixed Income front office team lead to promote framework reusability across all business
  • Champion best practice software development life cycle with an emphasis in testdriven coding methodology
  • Balance time to market (client delivery) with proper governance, compliance, and audit mandates
  • Mentor junior developer

Education
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related


Required Background:

  • 5+ years of financial service experience
  • Able to communicate effectively with the desk.
  • Strong design, coding, testing, and debugging skills
  • Strong experience in frontoffice trading system with an emphasis in E-Trading

- Programming Languages - Java (10+ years), Javascript, C# a plus.

  • Must have general Fixed Income Pricing and Analytic knowledge
  • Must have strong multithreaded programming experience
  • Must have knowledge of Client Markets MarketAxess, Bloomberg, TradeWeb
  • Must have knowledge of Credit Buy-Side/Sell-Side market structure
  • Knowledge of FIX protocol a plus
  • Knowledge of ION or Broadway API a plus
  • Knowledge of KDB/Q a plus
