Position Summary:

Provide direct hands-on support of divisions to continually improve Divisional inventory metrics, internal and external delivery performance, SIOP, logistics metrics and support compliance to MMOG.

Interact directly with external customers and supply chain to represent Martinrea in development activities, performance evaluation and root cause analysis.

Evaluate and confirm effectiveness of implementation of division corrective actions. Prepare and present reports for distribution to the executive team as required.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for direct support of divisions by leading or participating in problem solving activities, corrective action development and implementation, customer systems training and communications.
Ensure timely, accurate responses to customer concerns.
Prepare reports of division performance to customer requirements, corporate standards and internal measurables.
Full implementation and continued lead role of SIOP process.
Participation and development of supply chain risk assessments.
Recommend improvements or additions to standardized documents to support MMS best practices and other Martinrea operating procedures.
Abide by all company polices including, but not limited to the following; Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human resources policies, and Martinrea Employee Handbook
Participate in the reviewing process of the following items;
Review and guidance of budgets and controlling costs; inventory forecasts, capital expenditures, headcount
Development of business plans aimed at achieving established goals and objectives
Development of policies and procedures
Protect assets of the company
Ensure compliance with MMOG requirements driving actions where gaps are present.
Manages policy deployment in the areas of Lean Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and ontime delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and plant performance measures.
Participates and fully understands QMS/QOS as it pertains to the job and support functions as applicable.
Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

Post-Secondary Education and / or equivalent work experience
Thorough knowledge of customer rating systems
Thorough knowledge of SIOP
10+ yearsexperience in Automotive Tier 1 or OEM environment
Ability to work independently
Strong communicator, both written and oral
Must have experience in a manufacturing facility with strong technical and financial background
Computer proficiency with Microsoft office based software
Familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
Strong leadership skills, excellent analytical and advanced problem solving skills

Must be fluent in Spanish and English
