The Supply Chain Team leader role is responsible for managing and overseeing overall supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of materials as well as selection of vendors.

It is responsible of managing the supply of goods and services across the organization in order that financial savings and performance improvements are made through a more strategic approach to supply chain management.

This position is also in charge of delivering effective.

Key Responsabilities, Tasks and Activities:

Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing local policies, standards, regulations, or laws
Supervise and assist in the planning, tracking and managing the importation of all shipments originating from SKIDATA Headquarters and all 3rd party suppliers.
Maintaining an accurate overview about actual system delivery situation of all orders.
Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supervising of all purchasing activities of related materials (i.e., SKIDATA AG, 3rd Party, facility required) that are necessary for SKIDATA Mexico operations
Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, freight forwarders or service providers
Responsible for all Inventory tracking, monitoring, and reporting both internally in SKIDATA Mexico and SKIDATA HQ.
Responsible for running annual physical inventory counts for HQ.
Participating in various projects which are related to operational improvement of either SKIDATA Mexico or SKIDATA as a group.
Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
Develop working relationships with key suppliers and vendors, members of the finance and operations teams, and key managers in each department.
Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Providing guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education and background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering Required
Business experience: 45 years

Skills and Knowledge:

Ability to form strong, effective relationships with suppliers at all levels, from executive to end user.
Ability to manage several projects of simultaneously, with local and remote teams as well as external partners.
Strong communication - verbal and written skills and people skills.
Strong communication, diplomacy and negotiation skills
Proficiency using scheduling, productivity and communication tools.
Ability to work within the ERP system that is utilized (SAI, and Dyanmics in 2017).

Pay:
$40, $45,000.00 per month
