Flō Networks is a leading provider of telecommunications services between the United States and Mexico. We provide connectivity and managed services to Fortune 1000 companies, telecommunications and cable companies through a fiber optic network that extends for 35,000 km between both countries.

We have an immediate need for a
Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in Mexico City, Mexico.

The Role:

The Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve potential issues in both Linux and Windows environments.
Drive automation to eliminate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency across hybrid systems.
Analyze performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize scalability in mixed operating system environments.
Embrace a DevOps culture, bridging the gap between development and operations for seamless delivery.
Integrate security best practices throughout the infrastructure and services.
Remain updated on the latest SRE technologies, tools, and methodologies applicable to Linux and Windows systems.
Collaborate on incident response and postmortem analysis to prevent future occurrences.
Propose and implement architectural improvements to enhance system resiliency

The Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or similar role, demonstrating expertise in both Linux and Windows administration.
Expertise in one or more programming languages (Python, Go, Java, PowerShell).
Handson experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, KVM, Proxmox).
Experience with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and practices.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
Handson experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, KVM).
Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A passion for reliability and a datadriven approach to decisionmaking.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
A desire to continuously learn and improve systems engineering practices.
