Summary:


The Supply Chain Excellence Electronics organization is a global function and part of Commodity Purchasing within Domain S - Materials Management (MM).


The team assists other departments, mainly Purchasing & Supply Chain Management, by providing tools and processes which help to execute and document supply chain activities.

Furthermore, knowledge about supply chain electronics activities is shared with the organization and suppliers by providing trainings and information's as well as guidelines.

The main action fields are divided into operational and strategic activities. Operational activities are related to support ZF factories to avoid material shortages with electronics suppliers. Strategic activities are directly linked to the Part-family-strategy approach of ZF.


Responsibilities:


  • Planning, coordination and implementation of global Supply Chain Continuity/ Resilience Concepts for Electronics
  • Conduct capacity studies and analysis with suppliers
  • Negotiation of logistics agreements & contracts like supply commitment, consignment and delivery performance target agreements
  • Support selection of new strategic suppliers for new business and ensure Supply Chain resilience
  • Leading Supply Chain optimization projects, defining standards, tools and processes. Identify and roll out best practices throughout the organization
  • Provide guidance to other team members and take care of reaching the project targets
  • Conduct logístical supplier audits (GMMOG/LE) as part of logístical supplier development project
  • Improvement, consulting and optimization of logistics costs within the Supply Chain
  • Act as link between suppliers, internal departments and customers

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor and/or Master Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
  • At least 6 years experience in logistics and Supply Chain Management in automotive industry and/or electronics business
  • Experience in logístical supplier development projects, ideally experiences in logistics audits like GMMOG/LE
  • Essential negotiation and leadership skills, proactive team player, sense of responsibility, selfmotivated and goaloriented attitude
  • High level knowledge of MS office package, especially Excel; SAP system
  • Fluent language skills in English and Intercultural competencies
  • High travel readiness
