Responsibilities:

Typically responsible for identifying and resolving basic / routine problems with broader departmental impact with established procedures
Determines hiring to ensure adequate staffing Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.
Recommends new work procedures.
Applies working knowledge of technical and professional principles and concepts and in depth knowledge of team goals. Limited but direct impact by ensuring the quality of tasks/services provided.
Good understanding of how the team integrates with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity
Leads a small team

Qualifications:

Basic level experience in a related role (combination of education/experience).

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
