Description


Follows established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective administrative support to an office, business unit, department, or other organization group.

Performs activities under direct supervision.

Answers telephones, screens calls and takes messages so callers/visitors are dealt with promptly, courteously and accurately.


Transcribes, type, format and proof reads a variety of material (e.g., correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics and spreadsheet software.

Coordinates internal and external meetings. This may include scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available.

Manages the appointments and schedules of staff in the unit.

Uses office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes and printers.

Performs other administrative tasks according to established guidelines and procedures so these activities are completed accurately and on time. Activities may include distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, filing, maintaining office supplies or other inventory.

Education, Licenses, Certifications


High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.


Experience
Minimal or no work experience required.

He is responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory of spare parts and filters at optimal levels.


It is responsible for controlling inputs and outputs, as well as the safety of the parts that are purchased for storage.


It is responsible for the reception, stowage, arrangement, and classification of parts, materials, and items supplied by suppliers, in accordance with the procedure established by the area.


He is responsible for participating in the physical inventory survey, according to the procedures and standards established in his assigned area.
