Brought on board to create an organization capable of having its management system, with full responsibility for taking control of the main processes. Serve as the technical and commercial liaison between internal resources, external vendors, and customers, maintaining an open and collaborative style to facilitate success. Analyze details and recommend system modifications to improve efficiency, enhance system operation, and reduce cost factors. KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Inherited and rescued client relationships in danger of dissolution by taking over relationship management for a $4 million customer, assembling all stakeholders, performing a top-down review, implementing a corrective action plan, and accomplishing key customer performance indicators significantly. Manufacturing firm dedicated to producing and commercializing Lead Oxide to the OEM Automotive Battery and Fine Chemicals business. Buyout shares former PYOSA OXIDES by PENOX, S.A.
Operations Manager
Promoted to Operations Manager by the Board of Directors to relocate the complete production plant facility to another location 60 miles away.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
• Production process approval for OEM Customers. Develop the APQP, PPAP, and AMEF to get customer approval for the Red Lead AGM in 2015 and Battery Oxide in 2007.
• Process and Equipment Installation (CAPEX). Installation project achieved on time and under budget, for AGM Red Lead production line (2015) and 2 Litharge production lines (2012).
• Labeling and Packaging System implementation according to DOT regulations. Orchestrate the procedures and methods to comply with DOT regulations to deliver finished goods (HAZMAT) into US territory.
• Drove full-scale upgrade of corporate IT infrastructure along with the abovementioned new business process flow schemes across all departments and ERP-SAP integration.
• Led relocation of the business to a new facility and new production lines. Negotiated lease agreements and achieved on-time, under-budget results for facility design and layout work in 2007. Including the Licenses and Permits for the Authorities (Health Agency, Environmental Agency, and Civil Guard).
• Dismantling and Clean-up former facility. Ensure the complete HAZMAT waste clean-up and final disposition in 2007.
• Accountable for all P&L, Production, Quality, Inventory, Maintenance, Packing, and Transportation. Responsible for the supply chain, from the procurement of raw materials, manufacturing, quality assurance, maintenance, packaging, and delivery to the Customer's plant.
• Led ISO9001 and ISO14001 Certification and Maintained from 2007 to 2016, including being the Management Representative and the Internal Audit Leader.
• Responsible for the annual Environmental and Health reports for the competent authorities, including Operational, HAZMAT waste generator and stack emission monitoring, as well as the Lead in Blood and clinical personnel evaluation, without any fine or penalty.
• Strong portfolio of improvements implemented, including process modifications and realignment, improved factory throughput by 24%, and cut inventory by 19%.
• Oversaw major safety program initiative by implementing a top-notch safety program and achieved zero lost-time accidents in more than 5 years.
 

PYOSA OXIDES, S.A. de C.V. – San Nicolás de los Garza, Mexico – November 1996 to December 2006.
Manufacturing firm dedicated to producing and commercializing Lead Oxide to the OEM Automotive Battery and Fine Chemicals business. Joint venture acquires between former PYOSA, S.A. de C.V., and PENOX, S.A.
Plant Manager
Promoted by the Board of Directors of the new joint venture company to implement a more formalized, improved planning and manufacturing process. In charge of reviewing all processes/procedures, them implementing changes that paved the way for continued company growth and expansion without additional headcount. Directed, mentored, and coached the managers and supervisors of the team.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Process and Equipment Installation Commissioning. Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and the first batch of the Litharge Screening Process (2003), 3 Battery Oxide production lines (1999), and 2 Primary Lead Oxide production lines (1996),
• Strong portfolio of improvements implemented, including process modifications and realignment, which includes production throughput (litharge calcination process 67%, red lead calcination process 100%), maintenance cost cut (pelletized process 65%, granulated process 58%).
• Led the Quality Circle implementation and following-up. Responsible for mentoring, coaching, and supporting Quality Circles (blue-collar employees) focused on 5S, Process Improvements, and Cost reduction.
• Ensure Production throughput meets objective at a designed quality level consistent with the lowest cost while maintaining a safe work environment, keeping the emissions under the EPA regulations.
