Armando Becerra

I am a professional with solid experience in materials science and teaching. Currently, as a Cosmic Radiation Shield Specialist, I lead the design of innovative materials for radiation protection in space environments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. I will be the first student from the University of Guadalajara to launch a project into space. At P&M ACADEMY, I manage and develop educational content for online courses in mathematics and physics. Additionally, I have taught Astronomy at the University Center of Tonalá, promoting scientific curiosity and critical thinking. My work combines scientific and technological innovation with outreach and educational excellence.

Lead the development, research, and design of a shield material for protection against cosmic radiation in space environments. 

Conduct exhaustive tests to evaluate the effectiveness and durability of the material under simulated space conditions and real experiments. 

Work closely with Aegis Aerospace to manage the delivery of the material to NASA, coordinating certification processes and compliance with standards for its launch into space.

Coordinate and manage sponsorship with the Municipal Government of Tlaquepaque.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and radiation experts.

Communicate the progress and results of the material development through TV interviews, newspaper articles, and social media posts to increase the visibility of the project, contribute to science and space outreach, and inspire future generations of scientists. 

Deliver the material at Aegis Aerospace facilities for its subsequent shipment to NASA and launch into space.
