Sobre Edna Leon Peña:

I have worked as an educator for more than 17 years. Junior High, Preschool and Elementary. These last years I have worked with preschoolers. I have found great pleasure in working with this age group because they are naturally bursting with self-expression and curiosity. I firmly believe  that the most significant learning occurs when we face realistic and meaningful situations. That is why I try to create an environment that allows for exploration and discovery within my classroom. My experience has taught me that this is the best way for children to start wondering, asking questions and finding answers. They will reflect and walk their own learning path. I’m passionate about teaching and grateful for the wonderful opportunity to be able to witness others’ learning processes.

Experiencia

I am currently working as a Substitute teacher at the American School Foundation. 
I worked at The Westhill Institute from August 2018 to December 2019 as a K3 Homeroom teacher.

I worked at Sierra Nevada Preschool from November 2006 to August 2018 as a Homeroom teacher for K2, K3 and Prefirst. 
I worked at Hans Christian Andersen kindergarten from August 1999 to September 2005 as a Homeroom teacher for Prefirst.

I worked at Centro Escolar Mexico from May 1998 to July 1999 as an English teacher for Middle High.
