Passionate engineer always striving to improve manufacturing processes. Over 8 years of experience in robot programming, automation and project management including validation process (IQ, OQ, PQ, Egineering Changes and customer support) for the healthcare sector and for processes automation.

I work with new customers to design, build, program, start up, maintain and improve automated processes for product manufacturing by using robots, vision systems, PLCs, HMIs, conveyors, ionized air, etc.

During my time at Jabil, I worked within the healthcare sector, which gave me the opportunity to work with process validation, including IQ, OQ, PQ, and Engineering Changes, for these, I worked both developing the protocols, executing them and reporting them for all the automated processes that I was in charge of.

I work with production data reports that include Downtime, Availability, Production Plan and FPY, to be able to create plans for preventative maintenance, also, making sure all the spare parts needed are available for the time they are needed and program the purchase/re-stock of parts hat have been used already.

Presenting justification for process automation including ROI, annual automation plans to higher roles on the company is a very important part of my role

Working with suppliers to get the technology that fits the best for the process is also part of my job, ensuring that we get the most out the technology we already have and look for new technologies that will improve our metrics.

Other part of my responsibilities is to teach technicians and engineers better ways of getting their work done, to keep their training and to help them stay motivated and to strive everyday, also I work with technicians and engineers selection to make sure that we have the best fit for the available roles in the facility,

Lean is also a very important part, I work to make even small changes on the lines that will help us improve the output and hence, the facilities metrics.

Main accomplishments:

-Slashed IQ, OQ, PQ and software validations for the automated lines I was in charge of.

-ISO 13485 certification.
-MedAccred certification for molding process.

-OEE improvement of several machines from 60% to 98% (fully automated plastic molding line).

-FPY improvement of automated line from 70% to 98.5%.
-Cycle Time reduction to enhance line output to meet customer requirements. -Being one of the best manufacturers for our customer.
-Maintenance improvement to prevent unnecessary downtime.
