• Latin Finance 2022 Corporate High-Grade Bond of the Year of América Móvil’s US$1bn “Travel Bond” for Sitios LatAm Spin Off. Scotiabank acted as Joint Bookrunner
• Latin Finance 2022 Quasi-Sovereign Bond of the Year of CFE US$1.75bn Sustainable bond issuance with the longest maturity (30-year) in Latin America to date and the largest sustainable corporate bond.
• Latin Finance 2022 Subnational Deal of the Year for EDOMEX MXN$2.89bn bond which marked the first issuance of ESG bonds by a subnational entity in Latin America. Another important innovation is its use of blockchain technology to make sure that what was promised with the issuance of the bond is accomplished, via reporting on use of proceeds and the progress of projects financed by the transaction. • Latin Finance 2022 Sovereign Local Currency Deal of the Year: United Mexican States (UMS) MXN$20bn BONDESG was Mexico’s first ESG floating-rate bond and Scotiabank’s first time as Joint Bookrunner & Sole Structuring Agent for UMS.
• Latin Finance 2020 Quasi-Sovereign Bond of the Year of PEMEX US$7.5bn Liability Management. Scotiabank acted as Joint Bookrunner and Deal Manager
