• Five-month period on Closed Caption on Cine Clásico Mexicano films narrating the dialogues and audiodescription legends into a dictation software (Dragon Professional) to formule the text to be inserted, timed and played as subtitles into the film. Glossary of audiodescription terms for the hearing impaired generated in Spanish.  
• Generation of descriptive subtitling for people with hearing disabilities in Spanish for live television and recorded programs.
• Use of dictation software for narrating scripts and software for generating subtitles.
• Monitoring the correct writing and spelling of the text, as well as the entry times, duration, length and cutting of the subtitles.

Spanish translator/ Assistant editor

• Editing and proofreading Spanish press releases on a daily basis according to company style. Transferring daily, weekly and monthly publications, marketing material, website content, emails to customers etc. from English to Spanish via SDL Trados Studio 2014 software. Internal and external regulation compliance assurance on press releases. Revising junior translators' translations. Involvement in the training and supervision of new freelance and/or in-house translators. Information gathering for translations (glossaries, reference material). 
• Editing of press release articles written in Spanish by financial analysts about Mexican companies and subsequent publishing on the S&P website on a daily basis. Translation to Spanish of press release articles published abroad on holding companies of Mexican subsidiaries. SDL Trados Studio 2014 software in use over the past 2.5 years averaging 15 hours per week per team member.

Key Achievements:

• Deadline met on three massive translation/edition projects regarding ~50 press release articles 2-3 days before targeted publishing date in conjunction with a 3 person team.
• 90% to 96% increase in satisfactory quality internal reviews on released translated/edited articles.

Assigned projects –

• Internal Control Program development for Latin America region on Restricted Parties List and collateral export policies (VTH)  under a threefold approach: English-Spanish translation of regional processes for the benefit of upper and mid-level management / integration of local written procedures to comply with export policies stated in the analyzed regional documentation / developing of training materials on streamlined procedures for staff and supervisors across 8 Latin American countries. Delivery of training sessions and follow up. Contact with SDL World Server translation software.
• Records Management Program development, implementation and follow up in Latin American HP sites. Procedure homologation. Pivotal contact person for filtering concerns before submitting to relevant HP Global Trade contacts.

Key Achievements:

• Promoted to team coordinator from individual contributor over an 8 month time period.
• Finding and documenting the reasons for being of daily procedures, creating the first Internal Control Program procedure document and training at regional level.

• Infomercial dialogues’ translation English to Spanish for Get a Grip, Eagle Eyes, Hot Legs Total Body Hair Removal System,
• Keep it Fresh Bags, Pure Magic Spa, Airmax Pillow, Dream Body, Truecolor Sunglasses, Cymbalta, etc… Scripts were
• received, translated to Spanish and adapted phonetically to match lip movement and on-screen synchronicity with a strong
• focus on names, numbers, missing text, punctuation/spelling, adherence to instructions, timings, frame gaps, reading speed
• and sentence splitting. Proof reading of younger translators’ translations and training of newly hired translators.

Key Achievements:

▪ Translation of up to 299 minutes of video per week.
