Hi there! I am currently a Dance Teacher/Manager at JWSD Dance located in Austin Texas, where I a hybrid job of in person and remotely. I am looking to continue teaching in a more impactful way. I am hard working, compassionate, and very communicative. I have had 6 years of experience teaching a variety of classes from physical movement to intellectual learning. I worked at a Montessori school in Roma, CDMX for a year where I taught children how to read, write, speak in english and learn how to do advanced, sequential math problems such as division and multiplication. Now I manage a dance studio and work as their manager, marketing agent and translator for English and Spanish speakers. I still teach dance classes occasionally and have a variety of classes online teaching english to people of all ages. I would love to expose myself to more children and people looking to learn english. I feel I am an asset because of my years of experience teaching in many different forms and my ability to host a fluid, fun, and challenging class that stimulates growth both virtually and in person.

I have taught dance and managed a dance studio from 2017-Current where I have taught a variety of ages ranging from 2-18 years old. In these classes I have learned how to make lesson plans, teach coordination and social skills in an interesting way that keeps children engaged and interactive. In 2021 I worked as a Montessori Teacher where I taught children ages 3-6 how to write, read and speak in english. I also taught mathematics (sequential and pattern related work, adding, subtracting, multiplication and even division), science, art and history all in english. Currently I am also working as a freelancer where give ESL classes online. These classes range from children to adults and require adaptive, consistent and creative lesson planning, personalized feedback and positive relationships with parents so the children taking the class can continue practicing at home--For adults I create a module that encompasses the work for each month.

Academically I have graduated high school (2017) from McNeil High School in Austin Texas. I went to school at the local community college in Austin from 2018-2020 where I studied creative writing. Finally I completed a certificate in AMI Montessori at South West Institute of Montessori Studies. I graduated with a honorable score and I now am qualified to work globally teaching ages 3-6 The Montessori Method.
