I am an Industrial Engineer with a Master’s in Environmental Management and 15 years of experience driving sustainable development solutions. My work has centered on climate change, renewable energy, carbon markets and the integration of environmental and social (ESG) criteria into corporate and public policies helping organizations navigate complex challenges while advancing measurable sustainability goals.

I have built expertise in biofuels, agribusiness, and the wider energy economy through my consulting experience, including as a Principal Consultant at S&P Global. In previous roles with GIZ, EcoSecurities, and as an independent consultant, I successfully led multidisciplinary teams, managed high-impact projects, and delivered insights in robust data analysis.

I bring track record in project management, strategy, and stakeholder engagement, with proven ability to translate analytical insights into actionable solutions. My professional interests continue to focus on renewable energy, circular economy strategies, waste-to-energy solutions such as biogas, and carbon emissions management.

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering at La Salle University in Mexico City in 1996. A few years later, in 2002, I studied a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.
