Product Engineer (PE):

- Project Management: Planning and tracking of product development projects from concept to production. Coordination with cross-functional teams (production, marketing, quality, etc.) to ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
- New Product Introduction (NPI): Development and implementation of processes for the introduction of new products into the production line. Validation and verification of new products through testing and prototyping.
Using the APQP methodology
- SAP interface: Make changes in SAP such as add material, delete part numbers, create consumable quantity, add additional material percentage if needed.
- Process Optimization: Identification and analysis of areas for improvement in manufacturing processes. Implementation of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Problem Analysis and Troubleshooting: Diagnosis and resolution of technical and quality problems that arise during the product life cycle. Use of root cause analysis (RCA) tools and other troubleshooting techniques.
- Technical Documentation: Creation and maintenance of detailed technical documentation, including product specifications, work instructions and user manuals. Ensuring that all documentation complies with industry regulations and standards.
- Testing and Validation: Design and execution of tests to verify product performance, reliability and safety. Analyzing test results and making adjustments to the design or process as needed.
- Collaboration with Suppliers and Customers: Interacting with suppliers to select appropriate materials and negotiate costs. Communicating with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support.
- Quality Control: Implementation of quality control systems to ensure that products meet specifications and quality standards. Conducting periodic quality audits and reviews.
- Training and Support: Training of production personnel and other departments on new processes and products. Providing technical support and advice to other teams within the organization.

- New Product Launch Support: Provision of comprehensive new product implementation (NPI) support, ensuring an efficient and effective transition from development to production.
- Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving: Application of methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys and A3 to identify and solve fundamental problems in the production process.
- Production Support: Provision of support in the creation of visual aids necessary for the manufacturing process, ensuring clarity and accuracy of work instructions.
- Development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP): Creation of SOPs for workstations on new models to be integrated into the plant, ensuring efficient and consistent procedures.
- Technical Drawing Interpretation: Analysis and understanding of technical drawings for their correct implementation in manufacturing processes.

Manufacturing Intern: 

- Delimitation of work stations.
- Implementation of visual aids as well as training the personnel in their work areas.
- Perform routines in the Fanuc and Yaskawa Robot's, and modify a little the program for its process (PLC).
- Assembly of fixtures for different models of the product.
- Flow diagrams, check list, preventive maintenance on machines and corrective actions.
- In charge of 5 people in the cleaning area, establish work schedules, work routines, control their material inventory and request material when required.
- Performing programs on TruPunch laser machines.

- Identify bottlenecks in the workstations and establish a line balancing to have a better production flow.

- Time taking at workstations.

- Follow up on engineering changes, notifying everyone involved in the change so that they do not have any inconvenience in the future.

- Training of personnel with the help of visual aids to be able to perform the work at their workstation.

- Perform pilot runs with the new projects implemented in the plant, perform an APQP to see the result of the project.
