PCE Technology Foxconn / Supplier Quality Management Sept. 2022 to Present Responsible for the Supplier Quality Management department, Ensured all SQE’s had equally assigned workloads and commodities, for all Supplier Quality and Supplier development issues. Was assigned responsibility for IQC, Metrology, ESD, and reliability Labs. Established calibration plans for all equipment in the plant. Conducted internal audits to ensure calibration compliance, oversaw correct and proper handling and follow through for all supplier claims and rejections and was the lead in charge of providing KPI’s for mentioned areas. 

Hansuh Automotive / Quality Manager Aug. 2020 to Jul. 2022                                    Quality Manager responsible for all supplier and process quality issues for two plants. In charge of overseeing all claims, QN's, production and customer issues. In charge of supplier development and direct customer/supplier negotiations. Responsible for all KPI reports and leader of supplier PPAP approval team. Responsible for departmental budget, hiring, training and overall development of Quality Engineers and Quality Personnel in the department. Management skills applied resulted in overall improvement between company, customers and suppliers achieving better customer negotiations, improved process quality, improved supplier response, reduction in cost of quality and better NPI.

 Capsonic Automotive and Aerospace / Quality Operations Manager April 2016 to August 2020                                                                                                                              Head of the Quality Operations department for both Automotive and Aerospace plants. Responsible for tending to any and all quality issues both internal and external. Responsible to ensure on time compliance with all company goals and metrics that ranged from cost of quality, cost reductions through continuous improvements, and scrap rate. Responsible for authorizing and monitoring the plant wide production scrap and leading the teams for corrective actions to improve all metric standings. Led the Quality Operations team to comply with all customer complaints and claims along with coordination for all customer returns and corrective actions and in process analysis. Strattec Security Corp. / Supplier Development Engineer Feb 2009 to Apr.2016 Responsible for developing all new and existing component suppliers that ranges from plastics, metals and electronics. In charge of reviewing and approving all CPAP documentation and Supplier Process Audits. Responsible for evaluating supplier manufacturing processes and pinpointing flaws in their procedures and processes in order to aid them in their manufacture of a quality part. Oversaw all containment actions with third party sorting companies at supplier, internal and customer facilities as well as helping our product engineers in design reviews and viability reviews for new product launches. I was one of three traveling SQE specialist that oversaw our worldwide supplier network that ranged from all of the Continental United States, Asia, Europe and South America. 

Johnson Controls Plant 4 / Quality Superintendent Jan 2006 to Feb 2009       Responsible root cause analysis, quality costs, and containment costs. Worked with Program managers, Product and Process Engineers for all new product launches and transfers. Additionally, was lead auditor for all Iso/Ts 16949 internal audits and have helped re certify the company for all re certification audits in this field as well as Q1 for Ford. Lear Mexican Trim Operations / Central Customer Quality Engineer Nov 2003 to Dec 2005                                                                                                                                          Central Customer Quality Engineer responsible for overseeing customer complaints, new product launches and third party containment at customer sites, RPPM's negotiation, root cause analysis and corrective actions. Also responsible for implementing and maintaining all ISO/TS 16949 procedure changes within the Quality department. Have been liaison responsible for 12 different customers in three different Lear plants. Detailed improvement results available upon request. 

Avon Automotive / Customer Quality Engineer May 2000 to Aug 2003              Responsible for tending to customer complaints, emergencies, negotiating PPM's, rejects, coordinating reworks or thirdparty containment Also responsible for following up on corrective actions in our production floor. In charge of analyzing production process to determine what kind of corrective actions needed to be taken to improve the product quality. Responsible for generating and completing 8d’s. Worked closely with product and manufacturing engineers to ensure prompt service to our customers regarding PPAP documentation, Engineering Change Requests, Packing issues, Shipping issues, etc. Detailed improvement results available upon request.  

Johnson Controls Plant 3 / Quality Superintendent Oct 1998 to Jul 2000                    Hired as customer quality engineer, responsible for overseeing all quality issues at our customer’s facility. Was in charge of support to all Ford Truck Group platforms. Kept track, analyzed and negotiated all PPM’s and RPPM’s with customers. Responsible for establishing third party containment at customer site, involving selection, training for third party containment personnel. Supervised and made sure all quality assurance process procedures were implemented at our mfg. Plant. After nearly one year, was promoted to Customer Quality Jr. Superintendent. Delphi Automotive Systems / Project Management Coordinator Feb 1992 to Oct 1998 Started working at Sistemas Electronicos & Conmutadores(mfg. plt.) as an engineering translator. Was later assigned responsibility of recruiting assistant. After one year, I was promoted to Project Management Coordinator where I was responsible for implementing and re-structuring an existing product development process. Also responsible for coordinating and tracking every project in the sensors, solenoids and fuel systems groups. Also created a number dispensing system and re-structured a project timing updates database. Coordinated all monthly project review and production worthiness meetings with all engineering and Mexican Operations staff. Finally, taught induction and sexual harassment prevention courses to all new hire engineers, this as a complement to my daily activities.
