Hyundai MOBIS de México 2015 – 2022 Senior Manager EHS & GA Mobis is a global automotive parts supplier to KIA and Hyundai, present in 21 countries worldwide and more than 12,000 employees. • Responsible for safety during the construction period of the 4 plants installed in Pesqueria during 10 months of construction, with a result of zero fatal accidents and only 7 minor accidents. • ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications as well as the creation of an integrated management system for the 4 plants located in Pesqueria and the RDC located in Salinas Victoria, in a time of 5 months with the result of the audit of only one non-conformity and the savings of 50% of the auditor's expenses by having an integrated system and only auditing the two systems at the same time. • Involve the safety area in the preparation of the process sheets, which are reviewed and signed by the EHS area, without the authorization of the EHS area, the operation cannot start. In 3 months the review and authorization of all the operation sheets was completed, having a reduction of accidents in hands of 90%. • Analysis of transportation routes for operation workers. This analysis and implementation took 1 month and resulted in an annual savings of 1 million pesos. The workers were not affected during the journey time. • Reduction of the BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) in the discharge of sanitary water in the toilets of the brake plant, an increase that was generated by the relation of toilets to the number of workers. The time to find the root cause was two months, the high BOD was counteracted with chemical products without affecting the environment. The result was the delivery to the government agency of the laboratory analysis, already within parameters. • Implementation of a safety and patrimonial security contract for all suppliers, contractors and third-party companies that are working within the facilities, with this, any threat to the company is avoided and there is control of the personnel as well as the tool that enters the company. • JSA (Job Safety Audit) analysis of all machinery from Korea, since the EHS area did not participate in their design.
