A Snapshot of Your Day

How You'll Make an Impact

You will study customer needs and fleet reports to guide your team on possible design approaches.
You will work with technical specialists in analytical and manufacturing fields to develop optimized design solutions to address requirements.
Where possible you will look for opportunities to build on prior knowledge when generating solutions.
You will help your team to understand how the design direction affects project and technical risk.
As your design solutions approach production, you will take part in validation and verification work.
In response to field failures, you will take part root cause analysis for components in which you've developed a specialization.

What You Bring

You have a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
You are fluent in English.
You have worked in a multidisciplinary mechanical design team as a Project Design Specialist for at least 10 years.
You are interested in gas turbine technology and how it can be developed to remain a relevant technology through the energy transition.
You are excited to create engineering solutions.

About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
