Job DescriptionJoin Rumzer as a Product Compliance Analyst and help manufacturers build safer, cleaner products.
In this role, you will work with Rumzers manufacturing customers to collect and maintain documentation required to ensure the manufacturer is complying with international regulations related to the use of hazardous materials in products (e.g. EU REACH, RoHS, California Prop 65, US TSCA, and more).
You will assist in finding the documentation on the web as well as potentially interact with suppliers to request and collect the information.
You will be entering the necessary information in a database application so that the compliance to international regulations can be assessed.
This is a remote position.About Rumzer: Our mission is to help manufacturers to easily and cost effectively comply with global environmental regulations such as EU RoHS, REACH, California Prop 65 and more. We do this using the best software technology. You will help the Rumzer manage all aspects of our accounting.
Requirements
An undergraduate degree1-3 years post college experience
Experience assessing product compliance to EU REACH, RoHS, California Prop 65, US TSCA, and similar regulations
Experience using IMDS, CDX and other product compliance applications
Excellent organizational skills
Able to learn quickly and respond quickly
Service oriented
Interest in global work and able to work effectively with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds
Good communicator with the ability to influence and challenge across all levels within the organization
Interested in growing in the department over time
Able to follow directions, but also a self-starter with good judgment
Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word); experience with Tableau a plus. Interest in learning and ability to learn quickly other computer applications and packages
