Logistics at full potential


As a Customer Service Officer you process orders, dealing with tickets, chat function support, prepares correspondence, and fulfils customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.

Research and analyses customer enquiries and complaints received by management.

This role will be covering 2 sites but based at our site in Hamina, Finland.

Fluency in English and Finnish is required for the role. This role is working Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm.


What you do on a typical day.

  • Understands basic administrative functions of Customer Service area.
  • Able to handle routine customer calls and appropriately escalates complex issues to the next level of management.
  • Must be able to research customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain records of all customer interactions and transactions to include all inquiries, comments, complaints, and resolution decisions.
  • Investigating and solving customers' problems (these may be more complex or longstanding problems).
  • Producing documentation/written information for customers when requested.
  • Investigating and solving simple customers' problems
  • Able to articulate clearly with other managers to discuss possible improvements to customer service provided.
  • Consciously dealing with the reduction of environmental impact in terms of waste, energy, water, and fuel consumption.

What you need to succeed at GXO

  • Minimum Required Education: Intermediate Vocational Education in logistics, supply chain management or equivalent.
Minimum Required Experience: 3+ years of Operations experience in a similar role

  • Ideally from a logistics environment.
  • Fluent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Finnish
  • Selfdriven and resilient and able to thrive in a challenging environment.
  • Flexibility to support within operations when required.
