Background & Purpose of the Job
We're looking for a leader with a passion to drive growth.

The Assistant CD Operations Excellence Manager is responsible to run smooth and effective back-end/customer facing operations to support business development team & customers.

The key deliverable is to implement & drive CD operational end to end processes & new capabilities with the coordination of support functions (SC, Finance, Digital, etc.), thus enabling business development teams to focus on core selling & business development roles.


The role should be seen as "Nerve Centre" for business unit for ensuring smooth back-end support for day-to-day operations, exceptional customer experience, delivery of Business Unit targets & seamless projects execution on time.


Who You Are & What You'll Do

Business processes & operating guidelines:


  • Operational Planning/ Target Delivery
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of new processes, procedures, and capabilities for effective and efficient BU operations.
  • Act as a liaison/partner between the BDM team and other internal business Partners (SC, Finance, Legal, etc.)
  • Monitor sale targets against plan and recommend action plans to reestablish performance objectives in line with agreed targets.
  • Responsible for overall coordination of LATAM cluster day to day CD operations including order cycle management and forecasting process alignment with demand planning team.
  • Implement timelines for submission of sales forecast, ensure accuracy of data to facilitate efficient order fulfilment by SC.
  • Understand customer management strategy in relation to Supply Chain & finance improvement initiatives.
  • Follow up with BDM /customers team on account receivable (AR) related issues.
  • Partner with CG Customer Service team to conduct RCA's with sourcing units on documentation issues.
  • Deliver CD Ops KPI to Target (e.g., overdues, RPP, Contracts compliance)
  • Lead CD Ops activities with key customers during JBP (Joint Business Planning) to provide strategies to further develop customer performance.
  • Trading Term Management
  • Follow up to ensure timely accrual of all Trading Terms in the system by BDMs Ensure proper tracking of trading terms / promotion
- budget vs actual by BDMs/Finance

  • NPD process execution
  • Coordinate & drive CD Ops related activities (e.g., registrations, customer setup, pricing, etc.,) for NPD projects launch.
  • Support project core team to remove bottlenecks to deliver projects on time.
  • Data Collection & Reporting
  • Provide support for KPI monitoring reporting such as overdue, demurrage reduction, RPP, Contracts compliance for BU.
  • Create value by data driven insights analysis from Secondary Sales & Stocks to enable growth.
  • Business Governance
  • Governance & Controls custodian where to play and how to play. Mandate Matrix execution for BU.
  • MCO collaboration and actions tracking.
  • Frameworks & Policies Compliance.
  • RPP and Contracts Compliance.

3rd party Management

  • Liaison with CD Ops CG resource monitor and ensure timeliness and compliance to key processes:
  • BMI & TTS Claim Tracker
  • Replacement Pricing Master
  • List Price Maintenance Master
  • New customer creation
  • Product Logistic
  • Customer Master Data

What You'll Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant area (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, International Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics)
  • 5+ years of business experience, preferably in crossfunctional departments
  • Experience in either CD operations or Trade Category operations or Field Sales.
  • Ability to operate on a crossnational scale and develop remote management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical for success
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, analytical, organization, and time management are essential skills.
  • Flexible working schedule to accommodate international cross function teams and time zones.
  • Excellent SAP APO, SAP ECC, Salesforce, and MS-Office skills.
  • Travelling may be required.
