Summary:


Manage a group of engineers to deliver results on time and able to offer engineering solutions for all aspects and phases related to the manufacture of products with a Methodic & Systematic Approach to resolve issues and improve processes.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that manufacturing processes and/or manufacturing methods within the facility are capable to meet quality, cost, and lead time requirements.
  • Responsible for installation, Manufacturing Method, and compliance Specifications.
  • Coordinate all sustaining activities related to the Manufacturing Engineering group.
  • Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing process.
  • Execute the Standardization of manufacturing processes.
  • Lead and supervise multifunctional projects and initiatives in the operational area.
  • Lead and develop the engineering department, creating a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Monitoring and control of Labor routing and support.
  • Coordinate with engineering's the update of Visual aids, work instructions for production lines assigned.
  • Support and follow up of Validation protocols: IQ / OQ / PQ
  • Lean Manufacturing methodologies implementation
  • Coordinate Process FMEA and maintenances updates.
  • Purchase new equipment for assembly of new products, including everything related to build an assembly cell in case needed.
  • Coordinate with Engineering to Work with Maintenance team on Down Time projects.
  • Component production schedule, ramp up inventory.
  • Problem Solving 6 Sigma (Green Belt
  • Black Belt), Shainin.
  • Monitoring and execute Good Manufacturing Practices with Engineering team.
  • Participate in lean initiatives.
  • Generate and implement cost savings ideas.
  • Initiate and Manage Capital Expenditure Approvals.
  • Analyze and improve processes to improve productivity and scrap rates.
  • Coordinate all support required for customer complaints or quality aspects.

Requirements


Qualifications:
-
2 years minimum experience in a similar role
:

5 years of experience in sustaining / manufacturing engineering
:

-
INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER career.

  • Black belt certification preferable.
  • Project management principles.
  • DOE & Statistics.
  • Lean concepts (5's, Visual Factory, KAIZEN, TPM, SMED).
  • Change engineering orders (DC/DOC).
  • Read Drawings specification.
  • BOM structures.
  • Labor Routings (Time Studies).
  • FDA Regulation related to the installation and validation of medical devices.

Advanced English level.

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Susutaining /
Manufactring Engineer: 5 years (preferred)
Engineering Supervisor: 2 years (preferred)


Language:


  • English fluently (preferred)
