    Molding Supervisor*Functions & Responsibilities

    • Develop appropriate planning strategy for each product group and customer segment.
    This includes determining consignment and safety stock levels of products for select customers
    • Create schedules for plastic injection molding and assembly operations
    • Generate daily molding work center schedule in support of shipping commitments and work center / machine capacity
    • Provide timely feedback to the sales, customer service and shipping managers on status of all work orders that may affect commitments to the customers
    • Schedules and support initial build and ramp up of new product releases
    • Support manufacturing management and inventory control on inventory related issues
    • Backup master scheduler when neededRequirements**:
    • High school diploma or some college units and/or APICS courses preferred
    • At least 2 years of manufacturing or planning/scheduling experience in a medium to high volume manufacturing environment
    • Must have excellent analytical and attention

    • personal communication skills
    • Must be computer literate and able to use EXCEL and MS WORD
    • Injection molding industry and SAP ERP systems experience a plus.
