• Salary: $140,000 - $195,000 + incentives + medical insurance + 401k

A leading ultra-luxury real estate and hospitality developer is seeking a Finance Manager / Development Controller to oversee all financial management and reporting for a landmark master-planned resort and private residential community in Baja California Sur.

This role will be responsible for full-cycle development finance oversight across multi-phase vertical and horizontal assets, including branded residences, hospitality components, golf, and amenity infrastructure. The Development Controller will work closely with Development, Construction, Asset Management, and Executive Leadership to ensure rigorous cost control, forecasting accuracy, capital tracking, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all development accounting and financial controls across multi-phase resort and residential components.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modelling, and variance reporting.
• Oversee lender draws, capital calls, JV compliance, and executive reporting.
• Ensure accurate cost tracking, contract governance, and revenue recognition for residential sales.
• Partner with Development and Construction leadership to maintain financial discipline and risk control.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 8+ years in development finance or project accounting within large-scale real estate.
• Experience on luxury resort, hospitality, or master-planned communities preferred.
• Proven oversight of significant construction budgets and capital reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP; CPA preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish advantageous.
• Commercially astute, detail-driven, and confident operating alongside senior leadership.
