This position is responsible for the local accounting according MEXGAAP, billing, travel expenses review, federal taxes calculation and analysis for a segment of the company's Client projects.

This position will report to the Regional Accounting Manager and will interact with Project Managers on a regular basis.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


  • Entry of daily journal entries, collections, and payments in the 3 entities in LATAM.
  • Entry of accruals, depreciation and amortization.
  • Bank reconciliations and accounting accounts.
  • Scheduling of accounts payable and review of travel expenses.
  • Determinate federal taxes such as Income Tax, VAT Tax, taxes on payroll and Social Security.
  • Supporting Project Accountants with budget maintenance.
  • Researching sales tax information and coordinating sales tax audits, as needed.
  • Reconciling corporate AmEx purchases.
  • Responsible for monthly account reconciliations as assigned, for intercompany transactions.
  • Responsible to generate TSA projects and renewal billings.
  • Other projects/assignments as necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
  • 4+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong comprehension of accounting theory
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work effectively in a high growth environment and rapidly changing organization
  • Detail orientation and organized in work
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Language:
intermediate level of English.
