Overview


We are seeking an experienced individual that is looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to support our company's expansion into Mexico.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven Electrical Detailer to join our team. The Electrical Detailer will be responsible for supporting engineers in the design and development of Large Off-Highway Vehicles.


Responsibilities

  • Create engineering drawings of electrical parts and assemblies. A to E size drawings.
  • Use the appropriate symbols when creating electrical drawings: harnesses, cabling, geometric tolerances, bill of materials, etc.
  • Verify 3D models and engineering drawings meet the customer's needs while also adhering to required engineering standards.
  • Use PLM software for storing CAD files, creating engineering notices, and maintaining Bills of Material.
  • Create engineering notices for all 3D models and engineering drawing changes and creations that adhere to required engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineers and peers to troubleshoot design issues along with 3D model and engineering drawing issues and discrepancies.
  • Complete projects in a timely manner to meet customer due dates.
  • Communicate to the Customer any delays or issues that are encountered during a project so that the project schedule can be kept up to date
  • Flatten harness with Capital Harness System (CHS)
  • Import DXF harness files into Creo and detail

Education/Experience

Any of the following are accepted:

  • Certificate in Computer Aided Drafting with 3+ years of Computer Aided Drafting experience
  • Technical school diploma
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

Required Skills:


  • Knowledge of Capital Harness System (necessary)
  • Creo
  • Good working knowledge of large 3D model manipulation
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own tasks.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Must be motivated and show initiative.
  • Not afraid to say if they don't understand something or need help.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to write in English.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Creo Cabling
  • Knowledge of Capital Harness System
  • Ability to detailed drawings of mechanical components

Pay Range
20, ,000/month


Pay:
$20, $30,000.00 per month
