General Description of the Role


The CCM Category Manager On Trade reports to the CCM Channel Manager On Trade and is responsible for the category strategy for On trade channels for all brands assigned to the category of which is responsible for.

The position is responsible for Brand plan in order to support the achievement of MWB strategic business objectives, by developing and implementing strategies and actions of the main levers of the

Trade Marketing Mix:
, differentiating them by type of channel, customer and point of sale.

  • Visibility/Brand Building at POS;
  • Consumer engagement at POS;
  • Bartender engagement
  • Development of actions to support sellout

Key Responsibilities and Activities

_Strategic Channel Management:
_


  • The position has the ownership of Brand Building for the On Trade Channel,
  • Consistently with key strategic brand objectives, is responsible for developing the CCM Category plan in synergy with the Marketing Plan and defines the entire trade marketing mix actions with a specific focus on Channel and POS.
  • Is responsible to manage the A&P Budget assigned by Channel Manager.
  • Responsible for defining the briefing activities to BTL and Suppliers agencies, for the various activities defined in the trade marketing plans.
  • Defines the criteria for assigning resources/activities to the CCM Field team and the relative operating flows (handling/ coding) and the various actions to be implemented on customers and points of sale
  • Building strategy in order to guarantee, sellout, consumption activation and perfect serve; (example Aperol Lighthouse project, etc.)

_Program Execution:
_


  • Briefs and coordinates external BTL agencies and suppliers for developing the Full Category Strategy based on Trade Marketing mix planning, (Consumer Engagement format, POS Material, Visibility and in store activation materials, expo events, etc.).
  • It is responsible for defining and developing, in collaboration with Sales Team and CCM field team, projects aimed at identifying and developing a strong and consistent Brand
  • It is responsible for ensuring the correct and timely implementation of CCM plan activities, respecting time and planned methods

_Budgeting & Performance Monitoring:
_


  • Manages tools and software to support data analysis for space allocation and Category Shelf Management projects
  • Fewer, bigger & better approach with strong focus on prioritization around key projects and must win battles that really maximize business impact
  • Market visit with Sales Team and CCM Field Team, alongside the figure of the On Trade in order to plan trade marketing activities of centralized sellout
  • Use tools and software to support the management of the various operational activities related to the implementation and monitoring of actions defined in trade marketing plans

_Analytics:
_


  • Ensure proper communication to On trade team leaders of objectives and kpi's of planned activities
  • Development of POSM strategy and structured management of operational flows (pos visibility, bar items etc.), related to the various activities planned within the trade marketing plan (Consumer Engagement tour, Visibility Strategy etc.)
  • Is responsible for the preparation and periodic presentation of analysis on the performance and the KPI activation of all the levers of the trade marketing mix
